“Zoom Me A River” is a short film facilitated by the Golden Plains Shire with funding from the the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund Recovery Boost. The film features artists, musicians, performers and writers from the Shire. The artist commissioned to produce a video, featuring layers of music, poetry and visual arts, was Leonie Van Eyk. A call was put out for submissions, and a number of GP Arts Inc members collaborated with Leonie to provide the script, visual art and music featured in the film.

The launch of “Zoom Me A River” occurred on Wednesday 16 December and is now online.

For more information about the creation of the film, read the article ‘Artists Unite to Share the Local COVID Story’ on the Golden Plains Shire website. You can also view the film on Leonie Van Eyk’s Vimeo page. Please share it widely.
