Our Committee

Our Committee has expanded in the 2023/2024 year. We have created a range of new positions to enable us to run more events, have a larger online presence and generally keep members and the arts community updated with what we are doing.

Jen Jones
Jen Jones

Jen Jones – President, Publicity and Social Media Coordinator
I’m what you would call an ‘accidental Artist’, playing around with oils and acrylics until 14 years ago I tried my hand at soft pastels, fell in love with them, and have been experimenting with them ever since. Nowadays, I devote my time between running Community based Art classes at the Grovedale Community House and squeezing time in my studio.

Rosalind Lawson
Rosalind Lawson

Rosalind Lawson  –
Vice President
Rosalind has engaged in many disciplines over her long career in making art. Painting, drawing and papermaking have been the way to explore many concepts and techniques; lately exploring the history of the landscape through geology, the natural world and the consequences of human interaction.

There is an environmental motivation to the latest work documenting the native wildflowers and fungi found in a small area on Rosalind’s property in Napoleons.

Sally Edwards

Sally Edwards – Secretary, Graphic Artist,
& Website Coordinator

My love of art goes back a long way which includes many mediums – ceramics, painting, printmaking, graphite, digital and more.
The last couple of years I have been enjoying soft pastels and through photo realistic painting, bringing joy to those who have lost their beloved pets.
I sometimes sneak back under the watercolour hat while I paint all subjects with the Bannockburn Art Group.

I hope to bring you a new and successful website too.
