Affiliate member and sponsor rules
Golden Plains Arts Inc. (GP Arts Inc.) welcomes partnerships with arts and creative groups through our Affiliate Membership program. Affiliate Memberships help us connect and promote creative activity across the Golden Plains region.
Affiliate membership details
- Annual Fee: $50 per group or organisation
- Term: 12 months from date of payment (renewable annually)
- Purpose: To create a recognised partnership between GP Arts Inc. and other creative organisations, supporting and promoting arts in the community.
Eligibility
Affiliate Membership is open to arts, cultural or creative organisations and groups or sponsors within or around the Golden Plains Shire who support the purpose of GP Arts Inc.
Benefits of affiliate membership
- Promotion of your group/organisation or events through the GP Arts Inc. website, newsletter, and calendar of events Social media mentions and tagging in relevant posts Listing on the GP Arts Inc. website as an Affiliate Member (including logo, description, and link)
- Opportunity to collaborate on exhibitions, events, or programs Invitations to GP Arts Inc. networking and community activities Permission to display 'Affiliate of GP Arts Inc.' on their own promotional materials (with prior approval)
Affiliate responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely information about their organisation and events Ensure information regarding your organisation or event is accurate and meets community standards and copyright requirements
- Acknowledge GP Arts Inc. appropriately in co-promoted materials Respect the values and purpose of GP Arts Inc.
- Not represent themselves as part of GP Arts Inc., but as an independent affiliate partner/sponsor
Insurance, risk and liability
Affiliate membership does not include insurance cover of any kind. Each Affiliate Member is responsible for maintaining its own insurance (including public liability, professional indemnity, and volunteer insurance if applicable). GP Arts Inc. does not accept responsibility for any claims, damages, or losses arising from Affiliate Members’ activities.
Termination of affiliate membership
- The annual fee is more than three months overdue
- Either party gives notice in writing of their intention to terminate the Affiliate membership
- The Affiliate acts in a way that harms GP Arts Inc. or breaches these rules
- The Affiliate ceases operation or requests removal in writing
GP Arts Inc. reserves the right to remove any Affiliate’s listing or promotional material if deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with our values.
General
By applying for Affiliate membership, the organisation agrees to these terms and gives permission for GP Arts Inc. to use its logo, description, and event information for promotional purposes in line with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). These rules may be amended by resolution of the GP Arts Inc. Committee.
