Charlie has been painting for 20 years with brush and pallet knife. He uses oil and acrylic and likes to paint landscapes, seascapes and portraits. His other passion is wood turning.

Venue 10: Vivian Ann Ireland
Vivien’s love of painting began with a craft group which included lessons in art. Starting with oils and then acrylics which she still uses, loving the brightness of colour. She has attended many workshops which have been beneficial. Subject choices are mixed allowing her to paint in an impressionist style.

Beverley finds inspiration in the natural world that surrounds her. Her work is essentially impressionistic with a focus on vibrancy to capture nature at its best.

Venue 3: Rosslyn Bosnar
Ros will be exhibiting her work at the Bannockburn venue. It will include a selection of the different mediums she uses: watercolour, alcohol ink, acrylic and silk painting. She will be demonstrating throughout the weekend.

Louise is a hobby artist who loves painting in different mediums, her favourite style of painting is with a pallet knife. She is inspired by nature and also enjoys painting portraits. Louise hopes that looking at her paintings will bring you joy.

Venue 3: Lyn Steele
Bannockburn artist Lyn Steele has merged her passion for photography and painting to create a vibrant collection of animal-themed art works. Using oil or acrylic on canvas, she employs bold brushstrokes and vivid colours to capture the unique personalities of her subjects.

Venue 3: Jan Hurlestone
Jan loves watching the colours of her paints interact to convey beautiful moments in nature. She aims to capture the energy of waves breaking, the quiet reflections on the beach sand, and the beauty of trees reaching up to the sky.

Venue 3: Maxine Deller
Maxine is a self-taught artist who likes to dabble in all types of mediums, from textiles to paintings; including quilting and free motion sewing, to oil, acrylic and watercolour. She loves it when colours sing.

Venue 4: Janet Caruana
Janet has been painting for 23 years, starting with Folk Art and progressing to her style of painting. Janet paints with acrylics, and her subjects are birds, animals, flowers, landscapes and seascapes. She also dabbles in other forms of art such as crochet, embroidery and cross stitch.

Venue 4: Marion Parker
The majority of Marion’s acrylic paintings portray the familiar landscapes of where she lives with open plains, vast skies and low horizons. Many of these scenes are created on small canvases.

Venue 3: Jen Jones
Jen’s work is based on realism and she will be demonstrating a variety of techniques for portraiture, seascapes and still life during the 2024 Golden Plains Arts Trail.

Venue 7: Lisa G Hunter
Along with abstract landscape paintings in acrylics, mono-prints on paper and fabric, Lisa’s layered mixed media art will be displayed. This year’s exhibition includes ekphrastic poetry. Lisa’s studio is set in the Dereel bushland.
